Let’s Feel This Perfect !

If you feel attractive about the nature and you don’t know how to mix the ideas, here you will find some tips that will be very useful when choosing your decor so that everything is harmonious and perfect according with your personality and tastes.
A beach wedding brings together many elements that make it a unique and unforgettable, not only for the beautiful sunset to accompany your photos, is the tropical climate and the sound of the sea. That is why we want to give you some ideas that will help you pick the colors that harmonize your ceremony, the dress that will make you look radiant and beautiful, the flowers that will bring life to the reception and the exquisite menu that your guests will enjoy, and finally an essential element that will give more life to your wedding, the music.

COLORS: The colors are very important because they reflect your personality and create environments, which is why we must be very careful when choosing your wedding colors courted. Remember that the colors prevail on the beach are the blue, green, turquoise, white, yellow and orange. An excellent combination may be turquoise, white and yellow or just white, green and the subdued color of the flame candles, your reception will a dream, play with your imagination and you will find the perfect atmosphere for your guests.

DRESS: no matter if you're high, low, blonde or brunette the most importantly is that you can feel like a fairy tale and always have in your mind that the man who is waiting for you, loves you above all things and no matter what he will see you beautiful and he will love you for the rest of his life.

FLOWERS: Roses, cartridges, lily, anemone, daffodil, freesia, gerbera, lily of the valley, orchids, ranunculus, anthurium, carnation, magnolia, peony, rose, sunflower, daisy, tulip, carnation etc...
All of them create an environment and give you a theme for your wedding, but more importantly they will be the accomplices of your dress, they will highlight your beauty, making you feel radiant.
This is why we must choose good mix of color and texture. Flowers are important from the bouquet that you will carry in your hands until the smallest petal to adorn the table of guests.
Make a beach wedding is a very important advantage because you do not have to worry about the season, you definitely will be in a tropical warm climates, so it will be easier to make decisions.

MENU: it is a beach wedding is time to enjoy a delicious dinner at the beach style, I suggest a delicious combination of sea and land (surf and turf) such a delicious tail grilled lobster and beef tenderloin with a bearnaise sauce based butter and white wine. It is essential that you offer two choices of meat, seafood and fish can be fantastic but we also know that there are foods that everyone can’t eat. The menu you choose will be significant for the guests, so be carefully and the guest will remember your wedding forever.

MUSIC: This could be the cause of making the reception memorable. It is causing a lot of feelings and unexplainable sensations, I recommend that you fit into the depths of your memories and find that song to mourn you, think, meditate, dream and live without worries, always making you happy in the saddest moments. This is the perfect song to walk on the beach with your princess dress and your accomplices in the hands, the colors harmonize with the melody of your heartbeat, only steps away from the man of your life. Music makes us live and feel the most special moments of our lives. Never forget this important complement, the music always makes happy hearts.

Remember that at Hilton Papagayo we make true the present and the most important memory of your life.

We are getting married!.. Time to design our invitations

After the excitement of the engagement comes, the nervousness and adrenaline of planning the details of the wedding you have dreamed of, where each moment should be perfect.

One of those details is the invitations which become the primary means of communication to family and friends. What information should they contain? What color do we want them? What font? What kind of paper?  These are some of the most common questions facing each couple. Here are some tips that will enable you to have greater clarity regarding what you want and how to achieve it.

Most importantly, invitations should be a clear reflection of what the bride and groom want, and so should be made according to your tastes.

The invitation should be consistent with the character and style of the wedding, as well as the place where the event is to be held.

The site selection and planning of the wedding should be done sufficiently in advance, at least five or four months in order to have enough time to allow for any necessary adjustments. Similarly, we suggest the delivery of invitations to guests be approximately 45 days in advance.

To select invitations you have two possibilities:
·         Consult a Catalog: an already designed invitation is chosen and adjustments are made to the colors, typography and other details.
·         Custom Made: the design starts from scratch and is unique because it´s made with the couple’s tastes in mind.
·         It is important to allow a professional to advise you on color schemes, details, and types of paper so that the invitation has a balanced design.

Now then, if the couple is wondering what to include in the invitation, and although that will depend on the taste of each pair, here are items considered essential information when designing invitations: Date, time and place, dress code, restrictions and telephone to confirm attendance.

Finally, the style will depend on each couple’s preferences, but innovation is always good.  Here are a few ideas to consider:

• Gift Box: it is sent with the invitation and a small gift in advance to show gratitude for the participation of the guests.
• Puzzle: it is possible to make the invitation as a puzzle to challenge guests to discover what's inside.
• Bottle of wine:  can be sent as a gift and serve as the invitation.

Planning your wedding – Day #1… Where to start?!

Planning a wedding itself could be stressful enough, especially when everything comes together (short time, huge guests list, destination wedding, a lot of ideas but nothing solid, etc), that why we want to provide you with a quick list of tools that will help you to get the ball rolling.
Budget Breakdown: You may have tons of ideas, but the first step will be to define and set a real and solid budget, this will allow you to concentrate in option that you will be able to afford and that will not affect the rest of the planning.
To-Do List: Put all your ideas and steps together, make sure you set a sequence of actions you must take in order to not forget any important detail. Include all this on your list and make sure it is on a logical sequence. You don’t want to start looking at flowers and linens until you have chosen your colors palette.
Guest List: Based on a few items, like budget and location you can create the most convenient guest list, make sure you send invitation with enough time and request a RSVP that will allow you to move quickly if need it.
Wedding Timeline (Ceremony, Cocktail, Reception and Party): This step will require a bit of assistance from your wedding coordinator or location contact (Hotel Coordinator, for instance), as they will have a better sense of important and key points such as weather conditions, daylight, and temperatures.
Wedding Details (Menu and Deco): This one could take a bit longer as it included a lot of details; make sure you designed enough time to this one. You can also get some support from several ideas you find on the internet.
Seating Chart: Good thing here is that this will be your call… some couple doesn’t like to do seating charts and leave it free for every guest to choose where to seat. In case you definitely want to do a seating chart, make sure you get a good feedback from your wedding coordinator in terms of the location lay out.
Service Providers (Vendors) Agenda: Super important to have all your vendors up and running and make sure that everything will be on time and as planned.
Check and Go: Final one… just check out all the above and the rest you have to do is say “I Do”.
Stay tune… more to come!

Warm regards from Papagayo, Costa Rica.

Color Fusion: stylish and inspired

Deciding on the right color theme for your wedding may seem overwhelming. Color is most of the times the element that unifies the wedding details and it shouldinspire!

Holding the ceremony by the sea allows the colors of nature to combine with the rest of the color palette. And although having a wedding by the sea might suggest that the natural choice would be blue, that’s not written in stone!

Pastels are always a smart combination that works yearround, and they give a romantic and tender look to all set-ups.

Vibrant colors are naturally showcased through orchids and other tropical flowers, and are a fun statement that has endless combination possibilities with fabrics, napkins, center pieces, and personalized design touches!

Whether you decide to go with light coloring or if you have an adventurous spirit that makes a statement through color, be sure to use dark colors only for accents.

Make sure your color choices have the same intensity so you avoid despairing looks, and remember every color is beautiful but not every combination will capture the mood you want to evoke for your big day, so always keep focused on your theme.

If you want to change things up using a variety of color schemes, be sure to use a consistent color palette for each part of your special day, for example one palette for the ceremony, another one for the cocktail and a final one for the reception/dinner.

It is very important to take into account that most likely the colors should match the wedding flowers, so an idea is to pick your colors knowing what’s on offer in terms of flower availability.
Remember ambiance can also be evoked through lighting, and how it is used can make or break a space. Light colors often soften the ambience while strong color lights are more of a happening showcase!
So either if you go with your favorite color or a trendy one, consider first ihow it will come together with invitations, linens, accessories, centerpieces, reception tables, glassware and even you dress!

Stay Tune!!
